Howdy 2old2,

I'm Charles, an Independent advisor trying to help.

Open your Md file in Microsoft Word. Make sure that the version you manage is electric current, at present > Click on the "File" tab to open the Discussion drib-down view > Click on "Salve as". Select the folder where yous desire to save your document. The dialog box will open > Select "Relieve equally" > In the "Salve as type" bill of fare > Select the option "Word document (.docx)" > Click on the "Salvage every bit" push and a copy of your file will be saved in Docx format.

I hope the data is useful.

Happy twenty-four hours
All-time Regards,
Charles.

Hullo 2old2

To convert from .physician to .docx, just need to open the .doc file and and so go to File -- SaveAs and ensure that you select .docx every bit the output file type every bit per attached screenshot

In that location's no "built-in" option to bulk convert from .dr. to .docx simply if you exercise a google search using the phrase "bulk catechumen .doc to .docx" (or any variation thereof), y'all will have no shortage of results of different bachelor options.

Hi 2old2

There is nothing wrong with your erstwhile files, yous should be able to open them form within Word, past choosing File - Open

Then yous simply demand to save the document in the newer format, to be able to edit the document . . .

Please attempt this, and let me know how you get on . . .

Actually all iii answers said the same thing: utilize File | Save Equally and select the .docx format for saving. Some other way is to choose Convert on the Info tab of the File backstage. But equally long as you don't mind working on documents in Compatibility Fashion, in that location is no need to convert them. The .docx format is more than efficient, then file sizes will be smaller, and saving them in the newer format will allow you to use newer features, merely if these considerations are not of import, you can leave them as is.
